It is a complete myth that the search and rescue dogs are highly authentic and are regarded as a special breed having different mechanisms and rearing. However, the fact is the search and rescue dogs are meant to undergoing a very strict and hardcore training to shape them well for every situation that they will be facing once the training session is completed. Besides, the old myth said that some specialized breeds as the Labradors, spinal, shepherd dogs have the special outline in them and were eligible to be called as the search and rescue dogs. The modern research has proved that most of the breeds can turn into search and rescue dogs once the training provided is satisfactory and has turned them stronger than before.

It always asked to start the training process from the early life stage. Be it human or any other creatures the more early you start the training process the fastest the outcomes are. Therefore in case of the dogs, it is highly recommend=ded to start the training at the puppy stage. They are tender and fresh and had huge capacity and energy to learn fresh. The more delay in the onset of training the more time taking process it becomes. The training of the search and the rescue dogs is very difficult and firm. They have to undergo every situation which they will be facing in future. The best part is the training is in specific that is they are intentionally made to undergo the situation and environment to which they aren’t familiar to. The more they foresee the dynamicity the more firm and rough they become in term of performance.

The core training basically comprises of the scent identification. It is very important to make them aware of the various scent identifying mechanism. Therefore a tight scent identification programmes are kept in the schedule on an everyday basis so that their sense of smell gets better by every single day and they learn the correct usage of it and at the right moment of time. Besides all this, a dog is recognized by its spontaneity. Therefore agility training is equally important. When they are in some task as for example the faster they are with their foot the lesser time is consumed. As a result, the team can cover a greater part of the land for investigation.

To conclude, from the above aspects of the training schedule it can easily be said that it is not all easy to turn every dog into search and rescue dog. Moreover, it is important to make them into it. Like every training session it is not at all easy but the coordinated efforts of the dog and the team the results are majorly on the positive sides. Once the dogs are trained they are always kept in spontaneity so that they don’t forget their agility and can justify their work process.
